I remember the day
when I heard my 1st Poison song way back in 1986, when I was in the 4th grade.
It was "Talk Dirty to Me" on Y106.7fm. Since then it's been a long history of
me being a HUGE Poison fan. It broke my heart when I heard C.C. had left the
band, and I hope everyone knows by now that he's back! That's right! Poison
has created a monster with their continuing jam packed summer tours. The first
was in 1998 with LA Guns, Great White and RATT. The next was with Cinderella,
Slaughter and Dokken. Last years had Warrant, Quiet Riot, and Enuff Z Nuff. I
missed that one because Bobby had a disc injury in his back. Fully recuperated,
this past summer's tour consisted of Winger, Cinderella and FASTER FUCKIN'
PUSSYCAT! How cool is that? Well, with my luck, we missed FPC altogether and
showed up half way through WInger and the girl I was brought flipped out and
did her disappearing act. This tour was to support of Poison's latest release
titled "Hollyweird" which came out in May. It's their first full length album
since 1990's Flesh & Blood with all four original members. Slaughter / Poison
was the 2nd concert I ever went to for the Flesh & Blood tour. I'm stoked that
things are still working out for this band.
On a side note,
when I first got myself online way back when, I found a site online that offered
a copy of Poison's 1996 (at the time) unreleased "Crack A Smile" for $10. I
sent in my money only for his site to have gone down and my money gone. Then my
online buddy Dave found another site offering the same thing, but this time it
was for $22.50, cash or money orders only. Hmmmm...... I checked it out and
what do ya know. It was that same fuck head using a different name. I knew it
was him again because the mailing address was the same. I reported him to
America Online and told them what he was doing and he had been banned from AOL.
Go me! I did a good deed and hopefully he won't be jackin' people for their
cash anymore. Who knows.... I think it's too easy for some people to get a free
web page and email. So future warning for all you Music fans out there.
Remember the name RUSTY SEDAM from
TERRE HAUTE, INDIANA. DO NOT send him any money.
Besides me, I know of 2 others that this guy ripped off so be careful. He's
found this page before and threatened action against me but nothing ever
happened. Just to prove my point, this information will remain posted until I
receive a mysterious $10 in the mail.
