The first GNR song
I ever heard was "Sweet Child O' Mine." My cousin let me hear it and I thought,
"ehh...it's ok..." Damn was I wrong.... It, along with everything else GNR
recorded, kicked some major ass! My only pet peeves about them is that it takes
SO long for them to put out an album.....but well worth the wait obviously, and
the fact that their (mainly Axl's) egos are a tad large. Agreeable on that?
Anyway, the band member line up has changed dramatically over the years. Steven
Adler was the first to go because of drug problems, then Izzy split and formed
Izzy Stradlen & the JuJu Hounds (which was highly under-rated). From there, it
seemed that GNR was on the downfall. Duff and Slash, who had put out
their own solo albums recently rejoined with Matt and former STP frontman Scott
Weiland to form Velvet Revolver.
GNR was supposedly
working on Chinese Democracy with, once again, a new line up. 2 former members of
Nine Inch Nails, Chris Vrenna and Robin Finck, are now included in the roster.
Actually, the only ORIGINAL member is Axl. Guess everyone else got fed up with
his shit....

APRIL/98:
Guns n' Roses these days (probably) are Axl Rose, lead guitarist Robin Finck
(Nine Inch Nails), Axl buddy guitarist Paul Huge, off-and-on former GNR
keyboardist Dizzy Reed, and most likely drummer Josh Freese. There may even be a
chance that Tommy Stinson will lay down some bass tracks. Stinson, formerly of
the Replacements, has adamantly denied to press sources his ongoing involvement
in the project but insiders confirm he's been hanging out in the studio.

#3. There will NOT be any NEW Guns N' Roses videos.

#5. There will NOT be a Guns N' Roses Fan Club.
#6. There will be a new Guns N' Roses 12 song minimum recording with three
original "B" sides.

Either times
changed or most of these were lies to get people off his back. Guns N Roses, or
should I say "Chester McGee and the guys who aren't Slash" made a surprise
appearance on the 2002 Mtv Music Video Awards. Apparently Axl has had some time
to gain 'a little' weight and was sporting some corn rows... Rock on? Well
they packed up and went on tour only to show that Axl is still just a whiney
baby who needs a dose of prozac. A friend of mine was on tour with him as
monitor engineer and he said that the reason the tour was cancelled was because
Axl locked himself up in his NY hotel room. Check out these recent riot
